Star Makers International is a global talent competition designed to spotlight and elevate exceptionally talented musical performers of Filipino heritage or descent.

The Preliminary Competition and Grand Finals are scheduled for July 2024 in Los Angeles, California.

Any musical performer of at least 1/4 Filipino heritage or descent can participate, regardless of their current country of residence.

Registration details can be found on our official Star Makers International website.

We welcome a range of musical talents, from singing and instrumental performances by solo artists, duos or small groups. Specific additional categories may be considered during the registration process.

Yes, contestants must be between 7 and 40 years old as of the start of the 2024. 

Yes, both solo and group performers of up to four members can participate. However, all members of the group should meet the age and heritage criteria.

Performers will be judged based on technical skill, originality, stage presence, and overall impact. Detailed criteria will be provided to participants ahead of each round.

There is one preliminary round leading up to the Grand Finals. 

The winner of the Grand Finals will receive travel and accommodation assistance for a Philippines promotional trip. Details will be communicated directly to the finalists.

Apart from the prestigious title, winner will receive a roundtrip airline ticket to the Philippines, talent development and management contract with ABS-CBN, promotional appearance on one or more of ABS-CBN’s many shows and platforms, recording opportunities, and mentorship from established artists. Full details will be provided prior to departure.

Tickets for the Preliminary Competition and Grand Finals will be available for purchase on our website a few months prior to the event.

Absolutely! Star Makers International is a global competition, and we encourage performers of Filipino descent from around the world to showcase their talents.

There is a contestant’s fee, details of which will be provided to successful applicants. 

Our panel includes esteemed personalities from the music industry and celebrated artists of Filipino heritage. The list of judges will be announced closer to the event date.

The Preliminary Competition and Grand Finals will be livestreamed for global audience.

While performances in Filipino languages are appreciated and celebrated, contestants are free to perform in any language they're comfortable with.
